AccuRIP File Prints a Portion
A file may print a portion of the way then stops, or prints fragmented data. This is most often associated with a USB cable greater than 6 feet long. You may have been printing with this cable at one time, but USB is a low power technology and this can happen at any time. Data does not travel long distances well. Problems can range from no connection, portions of a file printing then stopping, to fragmented print data. USB hubs claim to extend the range but they also do NOT work well or consistently.
If you have a printer far from the computer then Ethernet cabling is best. If the printer itself does not have an Ethernet connection then the use of an Ethernet Print Server Adapter or Hub is needed.
