How to Fix “Unable to Connect to RipCore”

Here’s how to fix it.

When the RipCore becomes damaged due to a bad postscript file the repair is fast and easy.

In Finder use the Go to Folder function to access

/Library/Application Support/FawkesEngineering/RipCore/1.06/Data

Move the two folders in the Data folder to the trash:

jobManager
PSDisk0

Do not trash:
scheduledMaintenance.json

Restart the Computer

Open AccuRIP

If AccuRIP did not open successfully go to

www.freehandhelp.com

and submit a request for live agent support.
