I’ll show you a few easy resolves to an Activation Error Message.
The iLok License Manager is your key to success.
First ensure that you are properly signed into your iLok account.
Open iLok License Manager, if you are not signed in click Sign In and sign in with the iLok account you set up when you first opened the Freehand Software.
Next, check that your Cloud session is open. If it is grayed out go to the file menu, click Open Your Cloud Session, then click OK.
Select your cloud session to see your assigned licenses. If there are no licenses assigned, deposit one.
Click your account icon, go to the Available tab, then click and drag your Freehand software license to your cloud. Click OK and agree to any pop up windows that appear.
You may also click and drag licenses in the same way to activate an iLok dongle.
You’re now ready to use your Freehand software licenses.
