Custom Roll Film Sizes in Adobe Illustrator User Tip

Set proper roll sizes quickly and easily. Use standard and custom sizes. A simple step will save you time and prevent problems.

Adobe makes it super easy to use and set custom film sizes on the fly for roll film media.

Setup your Document size to match the width of the roll media installed on the printer, then set the Document height to any size that is right for your image.

In the Print window choose the AccuRIP printer driver then uncheck the box labeled “Auto-Rotate” to retain proper orientation. Now set the Media Size to “Custom”.

That’s it. You’re now ready to print.
