Epson Driver is Printing but AccuRIP is not Printing Solution

Epson Driver Printing AccuRIP Not Printing
A printer driver allows a computer to communicate with a printer.
A genuine manufacturer printer driver will always give the best performance.
Windows will sometimes install a generic printer driver. AccuRIP requires a genuine Epson printer driver.
The best way to avoid accidental install of a generic Windows driver is to install the genuine Epson driver before connecting the printer to a computer or network.
Able to print through the Epson driver but not through AccuRIP? Windows may have automatically installed a generic driver.
Let’s check the driver:
- Open Control Panel
- Go to Devices and Printers
- Right click the Epson printer
- Click “Printer properties”
- Go to the Advanced tab
If the driver displayed for the printer shows “ESC/P-R” then Windows installed a generic driver.
Let’s remove the generic driver:
- Close Printer Properties
- Right click the printer
- Click “Remove device”
- Click Yes
Now install the Epson driver:
- Go to epson.com
- Go to the Support page
- Search for the printer model
- Download and install the driver
- Open AccuRIP
- Go to Run Configuration Wizard
If the displayed driver is a genuine Epson driver:
- Delete the AccuRIP driver
- Restart computer and printer
- Open AccuRIP
- Choose Run Configuration Wizard
