The Pixma Pro-100 has a simple 2 light interface. There’s the power button with a white light and the Function button with a yellow light.

Here’s a fast lesson on what these lights mean and how to handle them.

A steady white light on the power button means the printer is ready to print.

A flashing white light means receiving data or printing.

White and yellow lights flashing means restart the printer.

The yellow light flashing twice means the media was not set properly. Load film properly then press the function button once.

The yellow lights flashing 4 times means an ink tank chip is reading low.

Press the function button once to continue printing.

The yellow light flashing 13 OR 16 times means an ink tank is reading empty.

Check ink levels then press and hold the function button for 8 seconds to continue printing.

Now you know.
