So why the warning messages asking if you trust Freehand and protecting your PC?

Microsoft Windows and their Edge browser have elevated security settings that warn users of just about everything to protect Microsoft from liability. This is becoming more common.

This is a soft warning meaning Microsoft gives you the ability to proceed.

Here’s how:

After the download is complete hover over the warning message then click the three dots to the right.

Follow my actions.

“Show more” reveals more options.

The download will now finish and the file will be accessible.

Open File to start the installer.

Another warning will appear.

More info reveals more options.

A final warning window will appear asking for permission to run the installer.

The installer will now run.

Happy printing.

Freehand and you together we got this.
