AccuRIP Files Not Printing and Not in Print Queue
When printing the file does not print and it doesn’t appear in the Job Queue.
When the print driver has the wrong port (user error) the file prints as PostScript Garble, but the file also does not appear in the Print Queue. The file bypasses the RIP print window and goes straight to the printer. Delete the AccuRIP Driver and rebuild one.
Another issue can be the low power associated with USB technology. Do NOT use a cable great than 6 feet. Even if you had been successful before with a long cable, you can now be suffering from this lower power technology. Tech has seen this many times.
If the above two options have not resolved the issue and you are a Windows user try this Advanced option. The Windows service spoolsv.exe is being blocked by a firewall software such as McAfee. AccuRIP Test Pages print. Even files print from the Epson Driver. All connections are corrects as are the ports. Yet, all files printed through AccuRIP get stuck.
- Open your Firewall software and access the section that controls Program Permissions.
- Locate the service called Print Spool Sub System and change its rights and permissions from BLOCKED to ALLOW (terms may vary). Mostly with Windows a Firewall can have its program permissions set to BLACK print spool services.
