Preferences
The Preferences window displays a number of options to optimize users workflows within the software. This menu is found under the EDIT menu for Windows OS and under the Separation Studio NXT menu on Apple MacOS.
Color Theme
Set software UI frame and background colors to either Gray or Black.
Units
Set to display units as imperial inch or metric millimeters.
View Mode
Set separation preview thumbnails from color mode to grayscale film mode.
Undo Limit
The Undo Limit setting controls how many actions can be undone consecutively. By setting a specific limit (e.g., 3), users can specify how many recent actions they want the software to remember and allow for reversal. If more undo actions are needed beyond this limit, the file will need to be closed without saving and reopened, starting fresh. Setting the limit to a very high number may decrease performance as computer memory is used to save undo steps. This feature helps users manage their work history efficiently, providing a balance between flexibility and performance for optimal workflow control. This setting applies to the History Window as well.
Default Press Size
